Jeanne and Blaine Wedding Trailer (in HD)

Jeanne and Blaine are two of the most delightful people we have ever had the opportunity to film. Their beautiful wedding was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jeanne and her mother had been planning this wedding all of their lives and they did a tremendous job with it! It truly was something special! This was our very first wedding shot in HD and I was curious as to how the new technology would transfer into a wedding movie. It is hard to see the dramatic difference because this is video is being streamed over the net to your computer and thus has to be made very small, but the amount of detail is evident when you view our HD on a TV. And yes, even a normal (non HD) TV will still give you a far superior image than our previous SD (standard definition) productions. See for yourself...

Back In Time Photography Commercials

Susan Dolehing with Back In Time Photography (www.BackInTimePhoto.com) wanted another commercial spot for television advertising. So we went to work with our new HD cameras and produced two spots for her and her fantastic staff! The shoot was perfect and the weather was absoultly beautiful! To Act or Not to Act

Part of our ongoing work with the Department of Performing Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette has brought us to the filming of their staged production of 'How I Learned to Drive.' This humorous, yet dramatic story sends audience members on a journey through life of young woman who learns about men, sex, and driving. Justin Bates and Travis Johnson were both the Assistant Professors of Theatre for the project and did an amazing job! There were parts where we were trying not to laugh louder than the persons seated next to us. Then there were times where it was so intense and quiet, I found myself holding my breath, in fear of being the only person to make a sound. What a magnificent production and an equally magnificent department! Great Job Guys and Gals!!

Introducing High Definition

After much research, testing, more research, a little fun, and even more testing, we are proud to announce that Focus Productions is now Strictly HIGH DEFINITION. With the expansion of our new cameras and upgraded editing capabilities, we are now producing all of our upcoming 2008 events in HD. This is an exciting time for us and for our clients as their/our cinematic works of art are being captured, edited, and preserved within the High Definition wonderland.
