In Sickness and in Health... Lauren and Kevin's Wedding Story
I just had to share our latest wedding filmed that just rolled out of post production. You may recognize Lauren and Kevin from their trailer that was posted some time ago. Here is a selection from their final wedding film which they received last night. It was such a fantastic and romantic story with so many twists and turns I just had to post it for all of you to see. Libby and Andre Wedding Trailer
Libby and Andre were married at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice on a beautiful sunny day. This couple was such a joy to film because they never stopped smiling and giggling at each other. Libby was glowing all day as you can see from the wedding trailer. The couple, and their friends and family, were both so easy going and kind hearted.
I choose this song for their wedding trailer because I wanted something that represented the seriousness of their devotion to their faith and to each other. The lyrics of this song are also perfect for the occasion as the chorus speaks of "don't look back," as if so say look ahead at the future you will now have with one another. The stained glass windows in the church made for an amazing backdrop and setting for the sentimental ceremony. Mother and daughter sang a duet for the communion, and the Maturin family and children were so adorable and photogenic! The trailer also features Libby's surprise time-lapse camera. and we always love working with her because she is easy going and very creative. Congratulations guys!

LaToya and Harold Wedding Trailer (in HD)
What a day, what a couple! Harold and LaToya were joined in a beautiful, heart-felt ceremony at Spirit of Liberty church in Lafayette. This couple had been sweethearts for years and their special day was more than anything just 'a wedding.' Their love for one another was evident when they had the entire congregation in tears while they exchanged their wedding vows.
Editing this trailer was especially challenging because I really wanted to convey their sense of passion and deep devotion for one another. The right song was crucial. I wanted something fast and powerful, yet still sweet and tender. How I shouted out loud when I came across this song by 'Bliss' entitled 'Kissing.' The lyrics are simple, but then again isn't pure love the same?
LaToya and Harold are such pleasant people to be around. This coupled with they're amazing personalities made our day with them one that we will never forget. Their families, friends, and wedding attendants, were such wonderful people and we feel privileged to have been a part of their beautiful day.

Katie and Eric Wedding Trailer
Katie and Eric were married at Holy Cross Catholic church. It was especially neat for me because this was my native church where I grew up and went to Sunday school for a few years during my childhood. Katie was very relaxed before the wedding, I think Eric was the nervous one! It was a bright beautiful day with wonderful clouds in the sky which made for a great time-lapse above the church. Melissa and Tyranny with Flowers Etc. were the event planners and floral artists for this wedding and really hit this one out of the ball park! We had a fantastic time with this couple as they were great and readily willing to be photographed.
I used this cold play song for her trailer because I thought it captured their fun spirit as a couple and their romantic playfulness. Tiffany and I had a fantastic time filming this one and know that the feature film will be simply spectacular!

Rebecca and Mitchell Trailer (in HD)
Rebecca and Mitch were married at First Baptist Church in downtown Lafayette. Following the beautiful ceremony was the simply elegant reception at City Club in River Ranch Blvd. This fun-loving, delightful couple were such a joy to follow around all day. Their amazing personalities captivated everyone who attended the wedding. You may recognize Angela, Rebecca's older sister, from our wedding demo. We had an amazing time photographing these two love birds!
